Designed for the second-generation Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (906 series) in bus body configuration, this engine mount supports the OM646/OM651 diesel or M271/M272 petrol engine against the chassis crossmember on the left/right engine bay. Three OE references including the Chrysler/Dodge Sprinter market number 68013684AA extend geographic coverage to North American-specification vehicles.
The 906-generation Sprinter is the benchmark light commercial vehicle in ambulance, welfare, and coach builder applications, where engine mount condition is assessed at each scheduled service. This mount incorporates the revised rubber compound specified for post-2006 Sprinters, which operate under higher exhaust back-pressure and increased auxiliary electrical loads compared to the 901–904 generation.
