Imported BMW 1 Series 3 Series X1
The BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, and X1 Controlled Rear Suspension Traction Arm Bushing is specifically designed for the rear suspension control arm system of imported BMW 1 Series, 3 Series, and X1 models. Installed at the hinge point connecting the control arm and subframe, it is a key elastic element in the suspension system that transmits and attenuates road surface excitation. As BMW's entry-level compact SUV, the X1 has a greater body weight and ground clearance than its platform sedan counterparts, resulting in increased vertical and lateral loads on the suspension. This places higher demands on the bushing's load-bearing capacity and fatigue resistance. This bushing features an outer diameter of 46.5mm, slightly larger than the standard size in the same series, increasing the rubber coverage area and more effectively distributing concentrated stress, reducing the risk of localized tearing of the rubber under repeated impacts. The bushing has also been stiffened to match the suspension geometry of the three models, ensuring effective vibration isolation while maintaining precise wheel alignment angles, providing stable trajectory tracking for the X1, 1 Series, and 3 Series.
This product has an outer diameter of 46.5mm, an inner diameter of 12mm, an overall installation length of 47mm, and a flange outer diameter of 25.5mm. The 46.5mm outer diameter is moderately large within the series, forming a thicker rubber layer with the 12mm inner diameter, which helps improve radial damping capacity. The 47mm installation length is slightly shorter than LJ-814, and combined with the 25.5mm flange outer diameter, it adapts to the axial space constraints of specific installation positions, ensuring reliable axial fixation after installation without any movement. All dimensions were precisely determined by comparing with the original factory sample using a coordinate measuring machine, and the interference fit with the mounting holes of the target vehicle is controlled within the optimal range, ensuring even force distribution during press-in installation and preventing damage to the control arm mounting hole walls.
Functionality: The increased outer diameter provides a larger rubber contact area, resulting in more even force distribution and greater composure under the impact of complex road conditions, such as on SUVs like the X1; it also maintains precise suspension geometry constraints, preventing unexpected toe angle changes during aggressive driving and ensuring driving safety.
Durability: The rubber compound is enhanced with improved resistance to compression set, preventing significant crushing and softening even after prolonged use under heavy loads, maintaining stable elastic properties. Metal parts are treated with anti-corrosion agents, resisting mud, water, and salt spray corrosion, adapting to various road and climatic conditions.
Compatibility: Compatible with the 1 Series, 3 Series, and X1 models across multiple model years, offering broad market coverage; installation is identical to the original factory method, requiring no special tools and can be completed at a standard repair shop.
