Vehicle Application:
Imported BMW X5 X6
The BMW X5 X6 aluminum alloy control arm rubber shock absorber sleeve is specifically designed for the rear suspension control arm system of the imported BMW X5 and X6 large luxury SUVs. It is one of the largest control arm bushing models in BMW's product lineup. As BMW's flagship SUVs, the X5 and X6 have a significantly higher overall weight than ordinary sedans, resulting in particularly substantial static loads on the rear axle under full load. Combined with the high ground clearance and center of gravity of SUVs, the suspension experiences extremely high peak dynamic loads during high-speed cornering and on bumpy roads. Under these conditions, the bushing not only needs to absorb road impacts but also withstand the combined loads caused by vehicle pitch and roll, placing stringent requirements on material strength and structural design. This product, through a series of enhancements including an increased outer diameter of 51.2mm, an increased inner diameter of 16mm, and an extended overall length of 65mm, comprehensively improves the bushing's radial load-bearing capacity and axial rigidity, ensuring long-term stable operation under heavy-load, high-dynamic conditions in the X5/X6, effectively maintaining vehicle handling precision and a luxurious driving experience.
This product has an outer diameter of 51.2mm, an inner diameter of 16mm, an overall installation length of 65mm, and a flange outer diameter of 52mm. The 16mm inner diameter is specifically designed for use with the large-diameter bolts of the X5/X6 control arms. The bolts pass through the metal inner core to bear the force, ensuring that the inner core does not deform under high torque tightening. The 65mm installation length is among the longest of similar bushings, with a large axial span of the rubber layer, effectively increasing the damping area and enhancing energy absorption under longitudinal impact. The difference between the 51.2mm outer diameter and the 52mm flange outer diameter is minimal, resulting in a wide flange contact surface and excellent axial limiting effect after installation, preventing axial displacement of the bushing during long-term heavy-load use. The overall dimensions are precisely matched to the X5/X6 platform suspension structure to ensure that the assembly clearance is consistent with the original factory specifications.
Functionality: The large rubber body provides excellent radial cushioning, effectively mitigating the strong vertical impacts generated when the X5/X6 is driving on unpaved roads, while maintaining rear suspension geometry accuracy, ensuring directional stability and handling confidence for this large SUV at high speeds. The wide flange design also effectively limits the bushing's tendency to roll over under lateral forces, minimizing suspension geometry deformation.
Durability: The high-strength rubber compound, specially formulated for heavy-duty conditions in large SUVs, has excellent tear resistance and fatigue resistance, maintaining structural integrity even under high-frequency, large-scale deformation conditions, effectively extending replacement cycles and reducing user maintenance costs. The metal frame is made of high-strength steel through stamping and undergoes multiple anti-corrosion treatments, adapting to the diverse driving scenarios of luxury SUV users.
Compatibility: Covers both the BMW imported X5 and X6 flagship SUV models, corresponding to multiple model years and engine configurations, with a wide range of compatibility; the installation specifications are completely compatible with the original factory specifications, allowing professional repair shops and 4S stores to directly install and use it without any additional processing.
