This differential bushing serves the larger-bore mounting position on the Volkswagen Touareg 7P and Porsche Panamera 970, where increased torque loads from larger displacement powertrains demand a bushing with greater radial stiffness. At 70.3 mm outer diameter it is physically distinct from the smaller sibling bushings and must not be substituted across positions.

The Panamera's front-engined, rear-biased AWD layout places significant dynamic load on the rear differential mount; a degraded bushing causes audible clonking under acceleration and deceleration as well as rear-axle misalignment symptoms. This part restores OEM compliance characteristics and returns the vehicle to factory noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) specification.
