The Stabilizer Bushing is an open-type rubber component engineered to mount the stabilizer bar to the chassis. It functions to isolate vibrations and manage lateral load transfer during cornering. Designed as an LJ-724 insert replacement, this part allows the existing outer metal shell to remain in place on the vehicle during maintenance.
Type: Split Rubber Bushing (Open-type)
Structure: Insert Replacement (Core only, model LJ-724)
Length: 46mm
Width: 48mm
Thickness: 46mm
Inner Diameter: 14mm
Split Structure: The open-type design enables the insert to be installed directly onto the stabilizer bar without requiring a press, simplifying the assembly process.
Insert Configuration: Functions as a core replacement to retrofit the original OE mount, reducing labor by eliminating the need to extract the pressed-in outer shell.
Dimensional Precision: Manufactured to a 46x48x46x14mm profile to ensure accurate fitment over the 14mm inner diameter stabilizer bar and within the OE bracket.
This bushing is applied in the repair and maintenance of front or rear suspension systems on specified BMW platforms. It is utilized to restore the physical connection between the sway bar and the chassis when the original rubber has degraded or separated from the metal shell.
