This transmission mount provides driveline isolation for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter first-generation and T1 series commercial vehicles. Its circular-section design (Ø 85.6 mm) accommodates the gearbox crossmember mounting on these platforms, limiting fore-aft and vertical movement of the transmission under load.

The Sprinter's widespread use in courier, ambulance, and light freight applications means transmission mounts are subject to frequent acceleration/braking cycles and varied payload conditions. Worn mounts allow gearbox movement that can cause gear selection difficulty, driveshaft vibration, and exhaust fouling. This part restores OEM gearbox stability and NVH control.
