This transmission mount is designed for the Mercedes-Benz W202 C-Class and W210 E-Class platforms, providing the primary rear gearbox support point on the transmission crossmember. Both platforms share a common drivetrain tunnel geometry that allows this single part to cover W202 saloon, estate, and W210 models.
At 127 mm overall, the mount incorporates a generously proportioned rubber element suited to the refined NVH expectations of the W202 and W210 buyer segment. These vehicles are now in widespread classic and daily-use ownership where transmission mount degradation is a common maintenance finding. A failed mount shifts the gearbox rearward under throttle, causing clunky gearchange, driveshaft vibration, and in severe cases, gearbox crossmember contact.
