Designed for the Mercedes-Benz G-Class W463 — one of the longest-production luxury 4x4 platforms in automotive history — this engine mount addresses the unique installation challenges of a body-on-frame off-road vehicle. The G-Class's ladder-frame construction transmits off-road vibrations through a different path than monocoque vehicles, requiring an engine mount that isolates the powerplant from chassis jolts as well as from powertrain vibration.
With six OE references (three base numbers, each with A-prefix variant) covering G 500, G 55 AMG, G 63 AMG in standard, 6x6, and ECE configurations, and the V12 G 65 AMG, this part supports the full W463 performance range. The G 63 AMG 6x6 application is the most demanding — the additional rear axles significantly increase drivetrain torque reaction forces on the engine mounting system.
