Transmission mount (large type) for BMW, providing the heavy-duty crossmember bushing used on larger-displacement BMW models where the smaller standard mount would be insufficiently stiff for the engine output. The large-type classification refers to the outer diameter and rubber cross-section, not the overall assembly size.

Large-bore outer diameter: Greater rubber cross-section than standard BMW transmission mount for enhanced load capacity
Increased static load rating: Rated for the higher gearbox mass and torque of larger BMW powertrain configurations
Hardened inner sleeve: Resists deformation at the through-bolt location under the elevated clamping torque used on large-type applications
Heavy-wall rubber: Thicker rubber section provides both higher load capacity and lower fatigue accumulation per cycle
Standard M10 fastener: Consistent with BMW large-type mount hardware despite the increased rubber volume

Correct specification for large-displacement BMW models where the standard mount is insufficient
Prevents rapid wear of the gearbox crossmember bore caused by undersized mount deflection
Sustains high axle torque during full-throttle acceleration without bottoming out
Isolates the characteristic V8 and V12 firing frequency from the BMW body more effectively than the standard mount
