The BMW 5 Series (G30) platform traction arm bushing was specifically developed for the 2016-2023 5 Series MHEV xDrive models, covering the main power versions such as the 540d MHEV xDrive (250kW/340hp) and 530d MHEV xDrive (183kW). This bushing is installed at the core hinge point of the front suspension control arm and is a key elastic component ensuring the chassis precision of the xDrive AWD system. The G30 platform employs a multi-link precision front suspension design, placing extremely high demands on the dimensional accuracy and elastic stability of the bushings. This is especially true when the MHEV hybrid system outputs high torque, requiring the suspension bushings to simultaneously withstand the combined loads of longitudinal thrust and lateral forces.
