This transmission mount covers the latest-generation W205 C-Class and W213 E-Class, both of which introduced the modular MRA (Mercedes Rear-wheel-drive Architecture) platform with its new downsized turbocharged four-cylinder powertrain lineup. Four OE references (two base + two A-prefix) confirm fitment across petrol variants including the entry 1.6-litre C 180 and the turbocharged 2.0-litre C 200, C 300, E 200, and E 300.
The MRA platform's downsized turbocharged engines produce higher low-speed torque than their naturally-aspirated predecessors, requiring updated transmission mount characteristics compared to the earlier W204 and W212. Early W205 and W213 examples are now reaching mileages where transmission mount replacement becomes a routine service requirement, making this an increasingly high-demand workshop part.
